It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence May Schafer of Allegan, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis Kremer and Ann Kremer (Nowakowski); her parents-in-law, Herman and Ila Schafer; and her sister Helen Little.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Schafer; her sons, Ron Schafer (Kim) and Mark Schafer (Kerry Briggs); her grandchildren, Tamarind Truax (Brian), Tara Schafer (Chris Verda), Ashlyn Schafer and Allyson Schafer; her great grandchildren, Ryan Truax and Parker Truax; her grandchildren, Jackie Horrock and Tom Carlton; and her nephew Jimmy Little.
