She was predeceased by: her parents, David F. Carlson and Louise Carlson (Nordquist); her husband Edwin Lloyd Byron; and her siblings, David S. Carlson and Florence Read.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Sebright (Jim), Karen Robertson (Jim), Rex Byron (Cindy) and Nancy Ellis (Pat). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Evelyn's name to Wings of Hope Hospice, (530 Linn St. Allegan, MI 49010) or Dementia Society of America at PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
