He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Arthur and Lorraine Statler (Johnson); and his wife Sandra Kay (Lock). He is survived by: his children, David Statler (Cindy) and Pearl Statler; his siblings, Jackie Hall (Dick), Richard Statler (Karen) and Clara Moore; and his grandchildren, Sabrina (Mike), Kyrah Jameson (Jamie), Justin Hulet, Cassandra Hulet, Jacob Statler, Matt Lee, Brittany Replogle and Brian Replogle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice or to a local animal shelter.
