He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gillette and Evelyn Gillette; his brother David Gillette; and his grandson Justin Gillette. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gillette; his sons, Scott Gillette (Sandra), Joel Gillette and Kurt Gillette; his grandchildren, Jennifer Einfeld (Dan), Matthew Gillette (Sarah), Brooke Hunsbereger (Kyle), Dustin Gillette, Brittany Peters (Michael) and Kyle Gillette; his great grandchildren, Aviela Einfeld, Asher Einfeld, Azalea Einfeld, Alliot Einfeld, Abriella Einfeld, Amelia Einfeld, Dyllan Gillette, Liah Gillette, Lillian Hunsberger, Amelia Hunsberger, Matilda Hunsberger, Elliana Hunsberger, Hunter Gillette, Colton Gillette, Madison Gillette, Allison Peters and Bradley Peters; and his siblings, Zea Gillette and Steven Gillette. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for donations to Centrica Hospice or St. Judes Children's Hospital in honor of Earl.
