He was predeceased by: his son Garry Kamps; his parents, Nelson Kamps and Marjorie Kamps; and his stepfather Bernard Mollema. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Andrea, Troy Ruwersma, Nick Kamps, Susie and Chris Otterbein; and his siblings, Ken (Gail Kamps), Tim Kamps, Kathy (Dave Ymker), Beth (Ray McCanless) and Jeff (Michelle Kamps). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
