He is survived by: his wife Wendy Barbara Byers; his children, Angela Ellis (Dan), David Harper (Adreanne), Ronnie Ewing (Jen) and Randy Ewing (Vanessa); and his siblings, Barbara Jo Byers (Richard), Faye Mitchell (Allan) and Thomas Byers (Peggy). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
