He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Beatty and Jean Beatty; his wife Margaret Mary O'Connell; his granddaughter Megan Currie; and his siblings, Larry Beatty, Charles Beatty, Patty Crosby, Gordon Beatty and Bonnie Grieves.
He is survived by: his sons, Chuck Beatty (Debbie), David Beatty and Steve Beatty; his grandchildren, Brianna Spencer (Allen), Dean Beatty (Erin), Erin Brady (Matt), Kevin Beatty (Denise), Kristen Beatty, Jacob Beatty and Danette Beatty; and his son-in-law Ryan Currie.
