He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence and Nancy Elizabeth Hopkins (Kennedy); his brothers, Bill, Bob and Don; his daughter-in-law Lisa; his parents-in-law, Norman and Lorena Lambert; and his brother-in-law Larry Clark.
He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Dee Lambert; his wife Pam; his sister Nancy Thomas (Chris) of Henderson; his children, Debra O'Leary (Kevin) of Byron Center and Jeff Hopkins (Angel) of Allegan; his granddaughters, Alyssa, Bridgett, Laney, Harper Hopkins and Kara Wyman (C. J.) of Hickory Corners; and his great grandchildren, Miah, Sloan, Liam and Connor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Chuck's name may be given to Wings of Hope Hospice, Sunset House or the Allegan County Food Pantry.
