She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Ackerman and Esther Ackerman (Foote); and her brother Bernie Ackerman. She is survived by: her children, Joshua Morgan (Shay) and Dana Spurgeon (Desman); her brothers, Gary Ackerman (Nancy), Al Ackerman (Jennette) and Larry Fales (Sharon); her sister-in-law Cathie Ackerman; and her grandchildren, Hudson, Hendrik Morgan, Cashton and Lennix Spurgeon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel (528 Trowbridge St, Allegan, MI 49010).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wings Home, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010 are suggested.
