He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tilly Furca and Peter Furca; his wife Arlene; his children, Ann Malak, Peggy Friedly (Richard), Gregg Furca (Tina) and Joel Furca (Carolyn); and his sister Mary Rose Kardys. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
