He was predeceased by: his wife Bev Marklin; and his daughter Cynthia Kodos. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Devereaux (Michael) and Jeff Schmidt (Kathy); his grandchildren, Christopher Dargaj (Shannon), Jeffrey Dargaj, Nicole Lin (Dan), Brandon Kodos, Beverly Kodos (Mario), Cody Schmidt and Dylan Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Tia Lin, Danika Lin, Mika Lin, Kaia Lin, Suvi Lin, Mady Dargaj, Wyatt Dargaj, Ava Dargaj, Sebastian Lo, Melody Lo, Niko Kodos and Evan Dekiere; and his brother Jerry Marklin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.
