He was predeceased by: his parents, John Balogh and Elizabeth Balogh; his partner Trish Hlavac; his son Ernie Balogh; and his brother John Balogh.
He is survived by: his daughter Patrice Balogh (Rob Rizzo); and his grandson Branden Balogh (Moriah Craft).
