She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Penny Bogan and Burke Townsend; and her siblings, Brandon Townsend, Nicole Meredith (James) and Tracy Townsend. She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who were her closest friends, and also a circle of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Kris's name to the Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
