He is survived by: his spouse Stacy Mackinnon; his children, Luke Rappa of Port Huron and Sara Rappa of Algonac; his grandsons, Parker James Rappa and Frank Daniel Zakalowski; his siblings, Mark Rappa (Pam) of Algonac and Mary Buriak of Plano Texas; and his niece Nicole Sims (Chris).
