Gary Christy Obituary

Cecil Gary Christy, 69, of Algonac entered eternal life on Sunday, November 19, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born March 20, 1948 in Algonac to the late Clarence and Ella Christy. Gary enjoyed tinkering around the house and working in his yard. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joan; children, Ella (Dan) Stephenson of Algonac, Anna (Andrew) Hutchinson of Marine City, Kim Warwick of Fair Haven and Katharine Ivey of Ozark, Alabama; fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren with his 5th expecting to arrive in June; a sister, Clarice and a brother, George.

Everyone who knew Gary knows he leaves behind his loving pets, Smokey Joe and Lady. In addition to his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by a son, Glen; sisters, Alice, Ann and Mary and brothers, Bill and Clark. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm with a funeral service being held at 7:00pm in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City.
