It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern E. Chaney of Algonac, Michigan, born in Clay Township, Michigan, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zenithen Bourget and Helen Bourget; and her sisters, Donna May and Erlene DeLorge. She is survived by: her husband Lee Chaney; her children, Kim Puneda (Rob) and Phil Chaney (Cathy); her grandchildren, Nick and Maddison Chaney; and her great grandchild Berkeley.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Algonac/Clay Historical Society.
