It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Haynes in Alger, Michigan, born in Tryon, North Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jannie Lee, Robert Haynes, John Haynes and J. D. Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Haynes; his sons, Dennis Haynes (Nancy) and Ralph Haynes; his stepchildren, Angela Smith and Shannon Moore (Bryan); his grandchildren, Steven, Joshua, Brett, Emmie, Forest and Cara; and his siblings, Thomas Haynes and Doris Cagle (Ray). He is also survived by two great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
