He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmont LaFountain and Edna LaFountain (Walsh); his son Jason; and his stepfather Ron Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife April LaFountain of Alger; his children, Jordan LaFountain of Chesaning, MI, Michael Fry (Ashley) of Gladwin, MI, Austin Fry (Ashley) of Caddot, WI, Emily McLean (Kenny) of Gladwin, Tiara Owen (Gavin) of West Branch, MI, Victoria Thorne of West Branch and Angel LaFountain of Lansing, MI.; his sisters, Cynthia LaFountain, Vicky Pumford (Daniel), Barbara Nethaway (Glen) and Teresa Hornbeck (Darryl); his grandchildren, Thea, Landon, Kayelynn, Hazel, Alissa, McKenzie, Jaxson, Everest and Gidian; and his nephew Eric Perry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
