She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward LaFontaine and Esther LaFontaine (Tuovila); and her husband Richard. She is survived by: her children, Steven Scheid (Catherine), Suzanne McDonald (Brian), Sandra Wakefield (Peter), Sharon Scheid, Stuart Scheid, Sally Mitchell (Stephen), Sharlene Cardenas and Scott Scheid. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
