He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie Wierman and Freda Wierman (Weifenbach); his wife Dorothy Van Atta; his children, Paige Kirchner (Bob), Kayla Terpstra (Terry) and Kurt Wierman (Nicole); and his sister Arlene Lueck. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
