He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Malbouef and Suzanne Malbouef (Van Huylenbrouck); his sisters, Elaine Blender (Malbouef) and Judith El Fakir (Malbouef); his niece Dr. Jeanette Wininger; and his brothers-in-law, Philip Wilcox and Robert Wickett.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Malbouef (Bauer) of Alden; his sons, Joseph Malbouef (Becky) of Saranac and Kevin Malbouef (Monica) of Alden; his grandsons, Traven and Caelex Malbouef of Alden; and his siblings, Jeanne Wilcox of Bryon, Frances Andrews (Harold) of Weidman, Thomas Malbouef (Barb), George Malbouef (Ruth), Josetta Mushaka (Greg Hartzog) of Woodstock, GA, Rosemary Wickett of Boyne City and Mary Battaglia (Jerome) of Farwell. He is also survived by his sons, nephews and grandsons.
