He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Pitz and Evelyn Pitz (Hicks); his daughter Melissa Pitz; his stepdaughter Melanie Fenley; and his sisters, Suzie Park and Linda Earl No.
He is survived by: his wife Janna M. Pitz; his daughters, Emily Wills of Ohio and Anna Jackson (Rod) of Howard City, MI; his stepchildren, Matthew Kurth of Kalkaska, Alisha Vanderloop (Adam) of Kalkaska, Crystal King (Jon) of Mancelona and Melinda Guethlein (Harley) of Gaylord; and his siblings, Carol Chafee (Jack), Wayne Pitz, Barbara Helsel (Clinton), John Pitz, Fred Pitz, Jim Pitz, Art Pitz, Judy Pitz and Shirley Wagner (Dale). He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
