She was predeceased by : her parents, George F. Piper and Lila L. Clark; her husband David Leffew; her son David Lee; her sisters, Lavina Piper and Linda Sue Piper; and her half-sister Maxine McNees.

She is survived by : her daughter Katrina Kover (Michael); her grandsons, Nickolas Kover (Brittany) and Brandon Kover (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, David Lee, Julian, James, Maverick, Carter, Azyln, Matthew, Aspen and Finnegan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
