He was predeceased by: his parents, George Springer and Eva Springer (Hunsicker); his wife Dorothea Eleanor Hein (Dee); his sister Ina Mooney (Robert); his son-in-law Michael Eldredge; and his granddaughter Amy LaGuire.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Eldredge, Deborah LaGuire (Dave) of Traverse City, David Springer (Julia Baker) of Babcock Ranch, FL and Matthew Springer (Kim) of Whitehall, MI; his grandchildren, Rebecca Eldredge (Adrian Esquivel), Kristen Eldredge (Anthony Valdez), Zachary LaGuire, Dania Springer, Andrea Slepkow (Josh), Ed Baker (Kayla), Michael Springer, Colin Springer (Kelcie), Ryan Springer and Rachel Springer; his great grandchildren, Elliana Esquivel, Carter LaGuire, Ashton, Evret, Phynegan, Solomon LaGuire, Grayson Slepkow, Rowan and Rubi Springer; and his sister Wilma Stevens (Chuck).
