He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Geisen and Rowene Geisen (Bosserd); his wife Vicki Jean Vogts of Albion; his children, Shelli Schmeichel (Chris) of Noblesville Indiana and Shawn Geisen (Kelli) of Albion; his grandchildren, Courtni, Tyler Schmeichel, Wyatt and Whitney Geisen; and his brother Gary Geisen (Loretta).

Memorials are suggested to the Calhoun County 4-H Beef Club, Rice Creek Community Church.
