He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Knisley and Alice Knisley (Wilbur); his wife Linda Vincent; his children, Robert Donald Knisley, Kathryn Marie Knisley, Sherry Lynn Carter (Ivan), Terry Lynn Knisley and Jerry Lee Knisley; his grandchildren, Lee, Ivan, Maggie, Jerry and Justin; and his siblings, Dianna Browning (Jim) and Alvie Shaw (Marci).

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
