He was predeceased by: his parents, Rondal Allen and Eliza Allen. He is survived by: his son Scottie Dean Allen of Florida; his grandchildren, Joshua Rusiecki of Albion and Dallas Allen Clark of Robeline, Louisiana; his siblings, John (Carolyn Eldridge), Laurie (Glen Moore), William (Zelmaglee Tackett), Corlis (Teri Allen), Jim (Paula Allen) and Richard (Judy Allen); and his sister-in-law Joyce Tackett of Albion. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
