He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his son Jonathon; and his sister Regina Keightley. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Burgess, Abigail McMillan (Dennis), Sarah Burgess (William Nielson) and Joel Burgess; and his brother Joseph R. Burgess, Jr.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
