He was predeceased by: his parents, James Delmar Lykins and Pearl Lykins (Harper); his wife Edna Gay Stevens; his sisters, Patricia L. Caskey and Lena Lykins; his nieces, Jammie L. Vasquez (Gogel) and Tia; and his nephew Timothy J. Lykins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kit Lykins of Morehead, KY, Ronnie Lykins, Ricky Lykins, Tim Lykins (Beverly) of West Liberty, Kentucky, Linda Moore of Battle Creek, MI, Doris Vasquez (Arthur) of Battle Creek, MI and Kathy Havens of Battle Creek, MI; his close friend Robert Harris of Albion, MI; and his aunts, Wanda Harper and Clotine Cornette. He is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews; and a multitude of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
