We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2020, at the age of 89, Norma Jean Carothers (Albion, Michigan), born in Hillsdale, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lincoln Smith and Cathleen Smith (Caywood); and her siblings, Norman Smith, Helen Kantner, Ellen Mallery, Richard Smith and Carol Hephner.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Engelter (Knowle), Herb Signor (Joyce), Kenneth Signor (Ranessa), Janet Main (Richard) and Jean Neil (Richard); her grandchildren, William Engelter (Becky), Michael Engelter, Benjamin Engelter (Sommer), Shannon Signor, Bradley Signor (Ashley), Chad Signor, Marsha Gooldy (Jesse), Stephen Neil (Rachael) and Adam Neil (Christy); her great grandchildren, Christina Marsh (Kodi), Spencer Engelter, Jack Engelter, Terek Engelter, Avery Engelter, Ryane Engelter, Kaden Engelter, Amelia Signor, Hunter Gooldy, Madalynn Gooldy, Ryder Gooldy, Hunter Marken, Riley Marken and Bentley Neil; and her brother Frederick Hooks (Diane).
