James Darrel Sims Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2019, at the age of 86, James Darrel Sims (Albion, Michigan), born in Monette, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Sims and Louise Sims (Lusk); his granddaughter Hannah Sims; his siblings, Ted, Gary, Don Sims and Janie Ruth; and his son-in-law Grant Gordon.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his children, Cathy Piper (Greg) of Bangor, Sue Ann Sims of Eaton Rapids, Sandra Dennis (David) of Marshall, Bonnie Williams of Gaylord, Karen Colvin (Russ) of Charlotte and Mike Sims of Burlington; his sister Brenda Wheeler (Larry); and his son-in-law Marvin Williams. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
