Dismuke of Wayne, MI and Sherika Motley of Milwaukee, WI; his niece Portia Patrick (Marcus) of Battle Creek, MI; his sons, Shaftone Dunklin (Melissa) of Jackson, MI and David Swinton (LaTasha) of Albion, MI; his siblings, Daisy Johnson (Robert) of Prichard, AL, Ruth Annie Swinton of Lansing, MI, Emma Jane Swinton of Lansing, MI, Rolyn Swinton of Battle Creek, MI and Clifton Swinton of Battle Creek, MI; his aunt Martha Newell of Buffalo, NY; his brother Sammie Swinton; and his sons, Richard Nadar Swinton, Chevi Maurice Tabb and Melvin "Jody" Motley. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and special lifelong friends.
