Gloria Ann Francis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Ann Francis (Albion, Michigan), who passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Resource Coordinator; her siblings, Deloris Williams and Leroy Wright Jr.; her grandparents, Hattie Lee Lafayette, Hattie Wright and Lucious Lafayette; her grandson Antione James Brown; and her son-in-law Richard Showers Sr..

She is survived by: her children, James Brown of Albion, Jean Ann Brown Jordan of Albion, Elvarene Showers of Albion, Deloris Johnson of Albion, Henry Williams II of Texas and Kitty Peak of North Carolina; her godchildren, Irene Gamble, Faith Ann Williams, Joyce Kemp Evans and Rickie Johnson; and her children, Deanna Bradshaw, John Amos, Tynetta Amos and Pastor Albert Amos.

She was a strong foundation in the Albion Public Schools system beginning at Crowell elementary school as a recruiter for the PTA and culminating in assisting parents in her community with multiple resources.
