She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Curtis and Francis Curtis (Hall); her husband Robert H. Barting; and her brother Dr. James L. Curtis. She is survived by: her goddaughter Elizabeth F. Craig of Albion, MI.; her grandson Mario G. Moore of Kalamazoo, MI.; her great grandchildren, William D. IV, Mason, Dustin, Kevin, Kaylee, Damyln and Elite; and her nieces, Rosie L. Chatman, Johnna Adams Robinson, A. Denise Maxwell, Barbara L. and Varoni L. Williams. She is also survived by two children: son.
