He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Bartel, Sr. and Elisabeth Bartel (Bartsch); his wife Marian VanSchoick; and his daughter Debra Miller. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Bartel (Pattie) and Kathy Browning; his son-in-law Bob Miller; his sister Rosemary Chapman; and his brother-in-law Kenny VanSchoick. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren (with 1 on the way) and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Springport Sports Boosters or to a charity of your choice.
