He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Oakley and Mona Aubrey Blodgett (Philp); his former wife Lillian Koch; his son Timothy; and his siblings, Thomas, Frances, Margaret, Dorothy, Donald, Alan and Melvin.

He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Jones (Jamie); his stepchildren, Susie Clark (Scott), Linda Clark, Linda Lincoln (Dan), Dave McKinney (Dagmar), Rob McKinney (Tia), Rich McKinney and Joyce Kinney (Brett); and his sister-in-law Rose Blodgett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
