He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde E. Lampkin and Mary Lee Lampkin (Saylor); his son Clyde R. Lampkin Jr.; his stepchildren, Brittany Gibson and Keegan Yost; his sister Barbara Northcutt; and his wife Jill Ekdahl. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Christ Apostolic Church of Albion.
