She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive father John Anderson; her spouse Russell Van Cole, Sr.; her grandchildren, Zachary, Zarianna, Zohanna and Joshua Floyd; and her children, Cheryl Floyd (Stephen), Russ Cole (Carolee), Susan Dow (Bill), Charity Cole and John Cole. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She shared a home with her daughter Charity, and in 2007 the two opened their hearts to foster children, becoming a safe haven and loving place for those in need.
