She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Leightner and Anna Leightner (Verlie); her husband Albert Troop; and her siblings, Alfred Leightner, Lynwood Leightner, Crystal Trine, Virginia Smith, Ella Fausz, Mary Hadden and Josephine Holt.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Nicely of Albion and Archibald Troop (Connie) of Baldwin, MI; her grandchildren, Michael Hammond (Kristan), Orran Hammond (Erin Piepkow), Besty Marshall and Matthew Troop; her great grandchildren, Tiffany Cornwell (Derek), Skyelar Ebert (Matthew), Bryar Hammond, Brayden Hammond, Reyse Hammond, Sebastian Marshall and Cheyenne Marshall; and her great great grandchild Evie Cornwell.
