She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Carter and Addie Lee Carter (Copeland); her children, Mackel, Ocie Leon, Aric Holloway and Priscilla Holloway; her granddaughter Tekisha Holloway; and her siblings, Thomas Carter, Charlie Carter, Geneva Carter, Anna Allen, Mary Combs, Rose E. Vines and Catherine Harris.

She is survived by: her husband Ocie Holloway Sr.; her children, Ocie Holloway Jr. of Lima, OH, Brenda Holloway and Phyllis Baker of Albion, MI; her nephews, Calvin and Stefon McConnell; her niece Michelle Brewer Jr.; and her son Jeremy Williams. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild Chakell who lost her mother and grandmother.
