She was predeceased by: her parents, DeWard Strickland and Maude Strickland; her husband Dale; her granddaughter Stephanie Gordon; and her siblings, June Borst (Strickland), Ernie, Keith and Don Strickland.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Norton of Starvation Lake, Patricia Gordon of Alba and Nancy Shepard (Dennis) of Alba; her grandchildren, Scott Shepard, Denise Stevens (Jake) and Michelle LaCost (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Christopher Shepard, Cameron Flood, Hannah LaCost, Kailee Stevens, Jordan Stevens (Joyce) and Alissa Coan (Jerry); and her great great grandchild Jerry Coan Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
