He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burwell and Dorothy Burwell; and his siblings, Gilbert, Dale, Robert and Marleen.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Blomberg; his children, April Slater (Jerry) of Eaton Rapids and Kevin Burwell of Nevada; his sister Mary Pollard (Al) of Petoskey; and his nephew Carl Pollard of Indian River. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
