She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Smith; her stepfather James Snivley; and her siblings, Diane Kruzel and Randy Smith. She is survived by: her husband Dave Veen of Alanson; her mother Virginia "Ginny" Snivley; her sons, Billy McNamara (Dawn) of Petoskey and Gary Veen (Maria) of Pontiac; her grandsons, Gunnar McNamara and Gage Kilpatrick; her siblings, Karen Geary (Mike), Sheila Major (Al), Susan Lytle and Bob Smith (Sharon); and her sister-in-law Diane Veen-Price (Keith).
