He was predeceased by: his wife Carolynn Kepsel; his parents, Robert Kepsel and Isadell Kepsel; his children, Thomas Kepsel (Suzette) and Timothy Kepsel (Sharon); his grandson Thomas Dylan Kepsel; and his brother Robert Kepsel.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Kaminski (William), Leroy Kepsel, Wendy Keller and Dori Grams (Michael Martin); his grandchildren, Lizzi Kepsel, Tara Kaminski, Christopher Kaminski, James Kepsel, Chase Keller, Brooke Keller, Scott Grams and Alexander Schmidt; and his siblings, Leona Daniels and Arlene Bennett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
