She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smolinski and Emily Smolinski (Chalupniczak); her husband Tom; her son-in-law Thomas Budnik; and her siblings, Blanche, Alphonse, Martha, Mary Ann, Angie, Lucille, Edwin, Clarence and David.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Paulus of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Carol Budnik of Rochester, MN and Mark Paulus (Sheila) of Battle Creek, MI; her great grandchildren, Jeff Budnik, Kari (Alex), Siena Heggen, Megan Paulus (Alex), Kyle (Cheyann), Myles, Della Paulus, Ryan (Taylor) and Scarlett Paulus; and her siblings, Stanley (Martha) and Dolores Dorer.
