He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruppal and Millie Ruppal (Fischer); his wife Norma Ruppal (Prime); and his siblings, John Ruppal (Marjory), Emma Jacoby (John), Millie Jacoby (Jacob), Elizabeth Scott (Tom), Otto Ruppal (Freda), Ernest Ruppal (Arlene), Edward Ruppal (Sylvia), Clara Halabis (Walter), Martha VanSteenhouse (Robert) and Don Ruppal (Genevieve).
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Barbara Ruppal Medvec, Michele Ruppal of Plymouth and Doug Ruppal (Brenda) of Akron; and his grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Ruppal (Melanie) of Sykesville, Dr. Estey Ruppal Evans (Duncan) of Seffner, Evan Michael Medvec of Akron and Tyler Daniel Medvec of Saline. He is also survived by his family, his church family.
