Susan Sarah Laurie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Sarah Laurie of Ahmeek, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan Sarah Laurie to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Biekkola and Margie Biekkola (Allen); her daughter Sarah Ann; her in-laws, Ted and Mabel Laurie; her brother Richard Biekkola; her siblings-in-law, Donna Nordstrom, Derrill and Scott Laurie; her nephews, Jeremy Nordstrom, Jason and Joel Tuoriniemi; and her close friend Geri Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Laurie; her daughter Cristy Crouch (Robert); her sisters, Mary Beth Biekkola (Sal), Jill Ritchie (Davey), Peggy Biekkola and Nancy Wegner (Kevin); her siblings-in-law, Bonnie "Deetie" Tuoriniemi (Dave Shannon), Alecia Gariepy (Jim), Robyn Matthews, Jean Laurie, Ron "Ace" Laurie (Cheryl), Kevin Laurie and Nordy Nordstrom; her grandchildren, BryAnna Melton (Dane Sirvio), Jasmin Melton (Cameron Bunk), Nick Crouch (Breigh Lawrence), Rebecca Crouch (Teal Wakeham), James Crouch and Hanna Wescott (Wayne Marjomaki); and her great grandchildren, Adalida and Nyla. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home (26090 Pine St, Calumet, MI 49913). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
