As Karen Anne departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Karen Anne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Karen Anne leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eckmeter and Beatrice Eckmeter (Schaudt); her son Matthew; her stepson Wally; and her brother Bill Eckmeter.

She is survived by: her son Stephen Napthen of Afton; her granddaughter Laylah of Afton; and her siblings, Dennis Eckmeter (Gabriele) of Richmond, Clint Eckmeter of Vermontville and Debbie Eckmeter of Vermontville.
