It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Lee Southwell (Afton, Michigan), who passed away on February 13, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vern Hanel and Josephine Hanel (Hutchinson); her children, Boyd "Clayton" (Judy), Michael (Keli), Scott, Carla Blanchard, David (Natasha), Becky Goral (James), Alan and Debra Southwell (Joshua); her siblings, Arlene Crawford, JoAnn Wright, Jean Cairnduff, Elvina "Vine" Kingsbury, Dianne Hanel, Patti Thompson, Russell Hanel and John Hanel; her sister-in-law Cora Lee "Code" Porter; and her siblings, Edith Culp and Vern Hanel. She was also cherished by nephews and nieces and countless friends.
