He is survived by: his sons, Ryan (Jenn), Jason (Heather) and Jimmy Maher (Genniece); his grandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Dalton, Jaedyn, Jamison, Brady, Declan and Killian; his great grandchildren, Braelynn and Ayden; his brothers, Bob (Sue), Scott (Holly) and Shawen Maher; and his former wife Amy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His wish was to donate his body to the University of Michigan.
